This view takes in the short length of Grosvenor Road leading up to the footbridge across the main London to Birmingham Railway line. It remains a cul de sac today with the Central Six shopping centre set in the old goods yard. The road was part of a general development of better quality terraced housing in the area behind the railway line up to Warwick Road in the late nineteenth century.
