The fields surrounding Charterhouse are to the right with the recently constructed Salisbury terrace to the left. Some of the houses, together with the distictive house on the far left, can still be seen. This marks the start of the built up area of Coventry when arriving from the south. The entrance buildings to the Coventry Workhouse can be seen in the distancnce.
